Dementia Care in a Crisis

Training Series Offered by the Collaborative Stabilization Coalition of Greater Dane County

The Collaborative Stabilization Coalition (CSC) of Greater Dane County is offering this training event for direct caregivers of people living with dementia who work in Dane County.  The series will focus on responding to those crisis situations that may put individuals at risk of losing their current living environment and how YOU can help prevent that from happening. This is a 4 - Part Series made possible by members of the CSC.

Each session will be from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Fall of 2021 - 2 In Person Sessions - 2 Zoom Sessions

  • Session 1 - September 22nd - On line via Zoom - Understanding a Dementia Diagnosis and Treatment
  • Session 2 - September 29th - In Person at 1414 MacArthur Road, Madison (CLA offices) - Positive Approaches
  • Session 3 - October 6th - On line via Zoom - Strategies to Cope with Behavioral Challenges
  • Session 4 - October 13th - In Person at 1414 MacArthur Road, Madison (CLA offices) - When Law Enforcement is Involved
